    The Human and Animal Skeletons were featured in Madonna’s music video “Bedtime story” are up for sale at propstore.com.
    Bedtime Stories was her sixth studio album released in 1994.
    The title song “Bedtime Story” delved into the mind of Madonna in a lucid state of dreaming. This visually stunning video shows Madonna in a pool of still water with the animal skulls around her, and later sitting in the lap of the human skeleton as it watches over her.
    The cat skull measures 17″ x 6″ (43cm x 15cm) the bird skull 15″ x 5″ (38cm x 13cm)and the Human Skeleton is approximately 47″ x 31″(119cm x 79cm).
    It is made of fiberglass or a dense resin with a metal structure, and some of the bones have come loose over time.

    Brahim Zaibat: Madonna is a normal woman
    According to AnythingHollywood, Brahim Zaibat has described Madonna as being “just a woman like all the others” and not a diva.
    “[Meeting her] wasn’t like meeting a monster!
    She’s just a woman like all the others. She’s an extraordinary artist and world famous, of course, but a woman above all.
    I’m not saying things have gone very fast [between us] since then, but things have happened in order.

    Madonna’s Remix Gets Grammy Nomination
    Nominations for the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards were announced by The Recording Academy live from Club Nokia in Los Angeles. David Guetta’s “One Love Club Remix” of “Revolver” made the list in the Best Remixed Recording category.
    The 53rd Annual Grammy Awards will be held on “Grammy Sunday,” on February 13, 2011, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
    Madonna feat. Nicki?
    For the promotion of her latest album “Pink Friday”, Nicki Minaj performed “Right Thru Me” on the “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” show. Afterwards, fans and paparazzi were waiting outside to catch a glimps of the rising star. When asked who she’d like to work with next, she immediately responded “Madonna!”.

    Jewels lost on Madonna’s set?
    Rumour has it that Madonna is the proud new owner of the most covetable lot from last night’s auction of jewellery formerly owned by the late Duchess of Windsor, Wallis Simpson. The onyx and diamond ‘Panther’ bracelet by Cartier, which dates from 1952, was estimated to fetch between: £1m -£1.5m, but eventually went for a world record £4.5m at Sotheby’s.
    Also and according to the Daily Mail, some jewels were lost on the set of Madonna’s forthcoming film W. E.
    A bracelet recreated by Cartier which actress Andrea Riseborough wears on screen, apparently went astray during filming. A crew member supposedly told the Newspaper:
    ‘We’re not sure how it happened, but a bracelet slipped off Andrea’s wrist and ended up in the Mediterranean. They got divers to try and hunt for it, but it was never recovered.’
    At Madonnarama, we simply have a hard time believing this story…
    Jesus Luz single?
    According to the NY Post, Jesus Luz sorta admitted that it was over between him and Madonna by saying…
    “I want to be married and have children at some point in my life.
    There are many beautiful women in New York. It is cool because there is such a mixture of ethnicities and cultures. It’s the right place for great food, friends, music and good sex.”
    Pat Manocchia, Madonna’s former gym trainer, releases book
    Pat Manocchia was Madonna’s fitness trainer for nine years, and he continues to train many celebrities, along with publishing his own fitness books to help others lead a fit life. He’s now working as a trainer at La Palestra gym, located on the upper West Side of Manhattan. Personal training can cost clients up to $8000 a year and on his list of clients is Liam Neeson and John McEnroe. Manocchia’s newest book, “Anatomy of Strength Training: The Five Essential Exercises”, arrives on bookshelves today.
    The BS Rumour
    French tabloid Paris-Match tries to get some attention with the rumour of a Madonna Tour next summer in 2011. Safe assumption or BS, who knows? Fact is Madonna hasn’t recorded a single song for her new album yet, as she stated herself during the Hard Candy Fitness center opening:
    “I gotta record a new album, then I gotta put my show together, then I gotta go on the road”.
    Shouldn’t we wait at least for a release date for the album before talking World Tour?

    Madonna’s new gym in Mexico City was finally given a permit to operate, a local official said Wednesday, two days after she inaugurated the luxury workout space.
    The Hard Candy gym had been prevented from opening because it lacked permits for land use and for its parking lot.
    Demetrio Sodi, head of the Miguel Hidalgo borough of Mexico City, explained
    “It was authorized during the day (Wednesday).
    People usually check they have all the permits before inaugurating something.
    Madonna was in Mexico City on Monday to open the first Hard Candy Fitness club, part of a global chain she and her business partners are unveiling around the world.
    Sodi said the gym was granted a special permit for the inauguration, in a country renowned for its cumbersome bureaucracy.
    The gym is set in a lavish, three-story, 3,000 square meter (32,000 square foot) space in the Mexican capital’s exclusive Lomas Altas neighborhood.

    Nelly Furtado was interviewed by the Huffington Post about her music as she’s just released a Greatest Hits album.
    When asked about who she’d like to collaborate with, the two names she came up with were Madonna and Drake.

I share both of them yes.

    A Visit Inside Madonna

    Chris Dedicik, CEO of Evolution New Ventures Mexico, told Mexican newspapers:

    We immediately liked this place, because it had the dimensions we were looking for, as well as natural light, which is very important to the concept we were trying to develop.
    She has not yet visited the gym, but we have sent many videos at every step in the process.
    The images in the lobby, which decorate the first floor and the spinning room, are chosen by her.
    She is very excited about this new project. For Madonna, the members are the most important part and this party is for them. We also sent a list with profile photos of special guests and she had the final say.

    The lobby, whose main wall is decorated with the album cover of Celebration, is open to the public and will feature a health food bar and energy drinks. It also features a small terrace.
    On the second floor, which is for members only, you can find an executive area with internet access, the personal training area and an area dedicated to cardio with about 80 fitness machines.
    The third floor is divided in two areas: the dance-yoga-spinning area and the weight-lifting area.
    The dance-yoga-spinning area consists of three different halls. In the main hall, 250 square meter, dance classes of different styles will be given and it will also serve as a scene for DJ Paul Oakenfold this Monday, who will be responsible for the music during the special dance class with Madonna. The other two halls are destined for yoga and spinning.
    In the weight-lifting area, you’ll find about 60 machines altogether.
    Other details:
    - Dressing rooms, bathrooms, showers, sauna are on the second floor.
    - The personal training and cardio area has elliptical machines, treadmills, weights, bicycles and equipment for sit-ups or stretching. It also features 6 plasma screens which can be used for exclusive messages by Madonna.
    - For an extra fee you can have access to a personal trainer who will guide you through your exercise routine
    - The spinning hall on the third floor is equipped with 35 bikes.
    - The floor of the “Mind and Body” hall, where the yoga classes will be given, is made of bamboo imported from China.
    - Yoga classes will also feature Iyengar Yoga, a form of yoga known for its use of props, such as belts and blocks.

    For her visit on Monday, Madonna didn’t request anything special, however it seems DJ Paul Oakenfold is a bit of a diva, since he requested all kinds of variety of drinks, coffee, tea, food at certain moments, etc.
    Madonna will arrive at Bosques de Duraznos 47 around 7:00pm and will leave Mexico City on Monday, but will be staying in the country for a vacation.
    The Mexican media expects the arrival of 750 VIP guests at 4:00pm, including Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim Helú.

    Some new rumours concerning the opening of the Hard Candy Fitness center in Mexico City…
    Madonna is apparently attending a dance class with about 30 members of the Hard Candy Fitness, selected by her dancers, in Mexico City. Afterwards, they can attend the after-party with Paul Oakenfold.
    Guadalupe Terrats, the director of the press agency organizing the opening of the Hard Candy Fitness center in Mexico City, apparently announced that three days before the opening (starting on November 26), Madonna’s team of dancers would be in Mexico to choose and announce the winners of the contest.
    The price is a dance lesson, which Madonna will also be attending.
    Currently, the number of winners is set at 30, but this may be increased up to 50, if Madonna decides to invite some more people.
    Apparently Paul Oakenfold will also be at the party and will be responsible for the music.
    The next city that will have it’s own Hard Candy Fitness center is Tel Aviv, as has been published in Israeli newspaper Yediot Ah’aronot. Keep in mind that nothing has been confirmed yet…

    Madonna’s Live Nation Deal in Question?
    After pulling back on mega-million-dollar deals with superstars like Madonna and Jay-Z, Live Nation is now hauling Michael Cohl, one of the original supporters of that controversial strategy to court, accusing him of breaching a non-compete agreement signed when he exited Live Nation in 2008.
    Cohl left the company in 2008 after a boardroom battle over Live Nation’s “360 degree” deals with top artists. Cohl favored the approach, which signed top acts to wide-ranging deals spanning recording, touring, merchandising and other rights.
    But Cohl clashed with CEO Michael Rapino and others in the company who reportedly found the deals too expensive. In two cases, Live Nation agreed to pay Madonna $120 million and Jay-Z $150 million.
    The size of those deals has since then been called into question, in particular after the concert promoter’s merger this year with the dominant ticket seller, Ticketmaster. Live Nation struggled to fill seats over the summer as concert-goers balked at rising ticket prices.
    Kees Tabak: “No More Heroes”
    Photographer Kees Tabak has just released “No More Heroes”, a book on his work including numerous pictures of Madonna and a glamourous cover featuring the queen of pop!

    John Wilson, founder of the Golden Raspberry awards, where awards are given to awful films, actors and directors, was recently interviewed and asked about Madonna, who has won ten awards, only one less than the record holder, Sylvester Stallone.
    He says:

    She is a very talented singer and person, but she has forged a twenty year career in acting and brought nothing to the table. She is just awful. Even in Truth Or dare she was bad, and she was playing herself. With the exception of Evita and Desperately Seeking Susan, where she was playing an extension of herself, she is dreadful.

    Lea Michele, who plays Rachel Berry on the hit Fox television series, would like Madonna to follow her showbiz pal Gwyneth Paltrow in appearing on Glee, and possibly even singing.

    We all loved the Madonna show we did but we are hoping to do a part two with Madonna. That would be a dream.
    I have not met Madonna but I would love to.
    The only thing is, of my idols I have met, I have thoroughly embarrassed myself!

    Two iconic looks from Dolce & Gabbana will represent Italian fashion at the Musée des arts Décoratifs’ “Histoire idéale de la mode contemporaine vol. 2 : 1990–2000″ exhibit, which opens in Paris on November 25 and runs through May 8.
    The exhibit looks at fashion from the last ten years of the 20th century, beginning with looks from minimalist designers like Azzedine Alaïa, Yohji Yamamoto, Helmut Lang and Martin Margiela and ending with the more provocative and over-the-top designs of John Galliano and Vivienne Westwood.
    The Italian design duo, who are currently in hot water on charges of tax evasion, provided two looks to represent Italian fashion at the exhibit–pieces that place them squarely in the more provocative camp. The first look is a corset embellished with multicolored stones and charms from Dolce & Gabbana’s Fall ’91/’92 collection, made famous by Madonna when she wore it to the ’91 premiere of Truth or Dare in NYC. The second piece is a corset armor dress from Spring ’07, worn famously by Lady Gaga.

    madonnalicious reader materialboy75 sends in this report from Mexico City about preparations for the opening of Hard Candy Fitness next Monday 29 November. One rumour in in the press is that Madonna could be giving dancing classes to 30 lucky Hard Candy Fitness members, but another newspaper report suggests it really will be a flying visit with Madonna only scheduled to spend eight hours in Mexico city.

    Jean Paul Gaultier is to be honoured with a retrospective at The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts (MMFA). Curated by Thierry-Maxime Loriot, the exhibition celebrates 35 influential years of the Paris-based designer, from June 17th to October 2nd, 2011.
    Titled ‘The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier: From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk’ will showcase about 120 haute couture and ready-to-wear pieces for women and men from 1976 to 2010.
    The exhibition celebrates the designer’s multi and counter-cultural design aesthetic and is divided into five sections: “Paris,” “Fusions” “Multi-Gender,” “Eurotrash/X- Rated” and “Metropolis.” In addition to the clothes, museum goers will also get the chance to explore the designer’s many collaborations. Throughout the years he’s combined forces with filmmakers Peter Greenaway, Luc Besson, Caro and Jeunet, and Pedro Almodóvar. In the dance world he’s worked with choreographers Maurice Béjart, Angelin Preljocaj and Régine Chopinot. Gaultier’s also made an impact with both French and American musicians from Madonna, Yvette Horner, Les Rita Mitsouko to Kylie Minogue and Lady Gaga.
    The exhibit will hit the U.S. next year when it comes to the Dallas Museum of Art from November 13th to February 12th, and San Francisco’s de Young Museum from March 24th to August 29th. Nathalie Bondil, MMFA’s director and chief curator lead the project with the help of Thierry-Maxime Loriot and fashion historian Florence Müller.
    A book accompanying the exhibition will also be released. The 425 page volume boasts 500 pictures and interviews with stars like Madonna, Pedro Almodóvar, Catherine Deneuve, Farida Khelfa, Martin Margiela, Pierre Cardin and Dita Von Teese.
