Time goes by

I have been away for a bit.  Work, life, hikeing and camping in the hills.  I actually camped in the HOH rain forest last weekend.  It was really beatiful and no it did not rain in the rain forest.  It was so nice to be away from the noise of the city.  The sky was so clear and the next day at Lake Quinault was sparkling.  Took a side trip later on the way back to seattle to Ruby Beach on the Washington Coast.  I did not attempt to put my toes in the icy water, but the sound of the ocean is just

Music Today

Now i know im only 21 but i dont get the new artists that have been coming out. I really dont understand the whole lady gaga thing- the songs are catchy and their fun to listen to but her whole schtick is weird. I understand that you have to stand out and get noticed but i think its kind of ridiculous and not genuine - shes like a mixture of a wannabe 80s madonna and 90s howard stern [who i love <3]  and all these rnb and "rap" stars that just keep talking about the same thing over and over

Madonna

I've been a Madonna fan since I was 7.  I can't wait to hear her new song "Celebrate".  I wonder what songs are going to be included to the Greatest Hits.  I flew to London to see Madonna in London last July.  I really enjoyed when she paid tribute to Michael Jackson.  I'm also glad that she performed "Dress you Up".  I really hope they release all her past tours on DVD/Blu Ray.  I'm still waiting for The Re-Invention Tour" to be released.  So please release it.  PLEASE!!!

Madonna, dame de coeur

Madonna won hearts in France Sunday as she visited injured survivors and the family of a stage hand who died during an accident which saw her concert date in Marseille cancelled. The city's mayor paid tribute to the US pop star's 'humanity' as she visited the home of 52-year-old French victim Charles Criscenzo's family in nearby Aix-en-Provence before tending to colleagues being treated in hospital. The black-clad US pop star landed at Marseille-Marignane airport at 1615 GMT and sped off with

"A" Magazine

Madonna graces the cover of Italian glossy magazine "A" with a nice shot from the "Human Nature" performance on the Sticky & Sweet Tour and a cover story about keeping up with being sexy thanks to music, love and self-care.

Solar eclipse shrouds Asia in daytime darkness

By ERIC TALMADGE Associated Press Writer 23 mins ago   TOKYO, Japan – Millions of Asians turned their eyes skyward Wednesday for the longest solar eclipse of this century, a rare event that caused a fatal stampede of viewers on the Ganges River in India. Millions of others — seeing the eclipse as a bad omen — shuttered themselves indoors. The daytime darkness prompted fireworks displays in China and sent bewildered cows to their feeding troughs for dinner on a remote Japanese island.

Sticky & Sweet Tour, Round 2 in Paris (Bercy) on July the 9th, 2009

I love Madge !!! She's the best performer I've ever seen...Well she is just incredible ! It was my 5th Madonna's gig and I must say that every time I see her I feel so much positive energy that I can't stop smiling, dancing, singing... This review won't be long I guess because I'm really tired and I can't find my words and I think I wouldn't stop saying she's great, she's the best, I love her and blablabla...LOL ! So, just to say that compared to the 2 gigs I've seen from the first round of
