Madonna as portrayed on the canvas is an allusion to Venus and Psyche

Throughout time, the painters who marked the History of Art developed themes dominated by mythological symbolism and were influenced, according to Freud’s theories, by  dreams of surreal images that reveal our capacity to interpret experiences with the unconscious. Madonna as portrayed on the canvas is an allusion to Venus and Psyche. In this painting it is easy to see the merging of both these allegoric figures, especially of the latter. Psyche: Greek word signifying soul.

Encourage Madonna

We all need to encourage Madonna and let let her know that we all love her.  The recent pictures of her are disturbing and I worry about her health.  Hopefully she is just super healthy but just in case we all need to send her our love and moral support.  We really dont want to lose one of our national treasures.  She has worked very hard and done so much with her life.  There is no reason that a successful person like Madonna, who is loved and adored by her fans, should go through any suffering
