My alltime favorite song is la isla bonita, i was 5 years old when i first heard this on my dads bootleg Madonna cassette. and i remember rewinding it over and over again till my dad finally just made a single cassette with this song on it like 6 times so i wouldnt have to rewind it so much. I cant believe that im almost 21 years old and when i play this song i still have to sit there and sing and listen and always rewind it, well just play it back. It boggles my mind and my families that i still have this insane passion and love for this song and this woman. anytime anywhere that this song is playing i either have to stand and listen or friends and family will text me to tell me they just heard it at old navy or a restaurant lols.. i know you guys wont find it weird thats why i love ICON and everyone here, we all have the same passion for her and her music, i mean when i first heard this song live i just began to cry ! and everytime i think of that memory at confessions I cry, my friends dont understand but i can still remember sitting on my bed with my cassette and a bright yellow walkman, listening to this song and wondering who is this woman !!!!!! .. 16 years later and my love for it is still as strong...insanity !!!!! oh by the way today i met nicole miller..how awesome !!!!!!!!!!!

So I just heard CELEBRATION on Perez like 5 minutes ago. My sister ran to me and said YOU GOTTA HEAR it lols and Its sooo amazing . In the middle of the song i start to cry and dance lols I cant wait for the album IM SOOOOO HAPPY I wasnt feeling Hard candy too much. it was good but THIS IS MADONNA all about the song just IS HER ! its not her trying to be something its just perfect . and im not making sense but its such a good song ! i cant wait to see the video !

Now i know im only 21 but i dont get the new artists that have been coming out. I really dont understand the whole lady gaga thing- the songs are catchy and their fun to listen to but her whole schtick is weird. I understand that you have to stand out and get noticed but i think its kind of ridiculous and not genuine - shes like a mixture of a wannabe 80s madonna and 90s howard stern [who i love <3] and all these rnb and "rap" stars that just keep talking about the same thing over and over again- money,girls and sex. its like PLEASEEEE discuss a new topic- what happened to the biggies and the tupacs.. its like theirs not realness in music anymore. My ipod is super outdated, I stick with the good oldies- good melodies and lyrics. I dont know but im sure im not the only one that thinks that music right now is really sh-tty
