    Lyrics
    My love's a revolver
    My love's a revolver

Oops, I guess I shot ya
    My finger's on the trigger
I had a bullet with your name on it
    Click-click

    I'm a sex pistol
    My love should be illegal
    Real deal, baby
    I'm no counterfeit
    Click-click

    Line 'em up
    Knock 'em down
    If looks could kill
    E-o-e-o
    My body's fully loaded
    And I've got more ammo

    Line 'em up
    Knock 'em down
    If looks could kill
    E-o-e-o
You're an accessory to murder, 'coz

    My love's a revolver
    My sex is a killer
    Do you wanna die happy?
    Do you wanna die happy?

    My love's a revolver
    My sex is a killer
    Do you wanna die happy?
    Do you wanna die happy?
    I let it bang bang

You've been hit by a smooth criminal
A bad girl I gotcha crying to your mama
    Saying I can't believe it

    I've seen your type
Bring a knife into a gun fight
Caught up in the law right
I think I'm in love aye

    Line 'em up
    Knock 'em down
    If looks could kill
    E-o-e-o
    My body's fully loaded
    And I've got more ammo

    Do you wanna die happy?
    Do you wanna die happy?

    I let it bang bang
    I shoot 'em bang bang
    I shoot 'em bang bang
    Mirror mirror on the wall
Who's the baddest of them all?
    I shoot 'em bang bang
    I shoot 'em bang bang
I line 'em up and watch them fall

    (Lil Wayne:)
Bang, the shooter name is Wayne
    The victim didn't complain
    She just screamed shoot again
    I gave her extra rounds
    My barrel twist around
I am Mr. Shoot 'em down
I leave hearts on the ground
    My love is a weapon
And yes I use it well
Then I let the rose petals
    Cover up the bullet shell
    I never shoot and tell
    I only shoot to kill
And that vest ain't gonna help ya
Even if it's made of steel

    My love's a revolver
    My sex is a killer
    Do you wanna die happy?

    Album

     Celebration
    Single
This song was originally intended for other artists but Madonna got a hold of it and recorded it with producer DJ Frank E as one of the bonus tracks for her 2009 greatest hits album Celebration. Hip hop megastar Lil Wayne features in the track. It's going to be released as a single at the end of 2009 as either a digital-only release, or accompanied by a physical format as well, supposedly on December 14th with remixes done by the likes of David Guetta. There's no video planned for the single.

Digital Spy interviewed famous French DJ David Guetta coinciding with his new single release, and he got asked about his ideal collaboration. His answer:
"I would love to work with Madonna. It will probably happen very soon actually. It's all in the early stages and I'm not allowed to speak about it yet!"
David Guetta is easily the most successful producer of 2009, not only he helmed the trans-European summer hit "When Love Takes Over" but also the Black Eyed Peas megahit "I Gotta Feeling" that pretty much dominated the charts everywhere this year and became the longest running #1 hit on Billboard since 2005, and his track "Sexy ***CENSORED***" featuring Akon also scored big.
Working with Guetta is the logical next step for Madonna. He's the latest on a long list of DJs who submitted remixes to her (he has just recently remixed both Celebration & Revolver), similar to the likes of William Orbit or Paul Oakenfold. Both "I Gotta Feeling" and "When Love Takes Over" were prominently included in Oakenfold's preshow set at the Sticky & Sweet Tour and Guetta opened the August 28th Confessions Tour show in Paris.
Madonna in recent interviews said she'd continue making electronic dance music and David Guetta is the #1 man for that at the moment. Producers are probably submitting tracks these days so she could start writing and recording early next year, to have a fall 2010 release for the new album, to keep the usual 2 and a half year gap between her studio albums.

Madonna insisted on wearing a bullet proof vest during her visit to a Rio de Janeiro slum even as she was accompanied by a squad of bodyguards.
The state governor also gave company to the 51-year-old hitmaker, reports the Daily Express.
Madonna stayed in the shanty town for nearly 40 minutes.
The star is trying to raise funds from local businessmen to aid a children’s charity there.

…Madonna also had work done in PatchWerk’s Studio 9000 this past October. Madonna had songs mixed by Leslie Brathwaite, assisted by PatchWerk engineer Brian Pedersen. In September 2009 Madonna released Celebration, her third greatest hits album, and closing release with Warner Bros. Records. It contained the new songs “Celebration” and “Revolver”, plus 34 hits spanning her career.

Have you ever had a burning desire to own a pair of Michael Jackson’s beaded socks? How about a suit tailor-made for John Lennon when he was a Beatle? Or you might like a size 42 jacket Elvis Presley wore in the film “Speedway.” If you’re in the market for a used car, how about a black 1985 Mercedes that once provided a royal ride for the King of Pop?

Well, here’s your chance: Those items are among hundreds of rare rock relics being auctioned off this Saturday, Nov. 21, by Julien’s Auctions at the Hard Rock Café in Times Square in New York City and online at juliensauctions.com.

    [...]

Another unique item is a demo tape an unknown performer named Madonna made in 1979 to send to record companies in an attempt to get a recording contract. Accompanied by an acoustic guitar, it’s just Madonna, her music unadorned by post-production magic and elaborate orchestration. The songs on the tape include “All My Love,” “Hear Me” (a song that evolved into “Shine a Light”), “Simon Says” (which became the familiar “Love Express”) and “Little Lost Boy.”

Julien estimates the tape will bring $1,000 to $2,000, noting that the Material Girl still holds the copyrights to all the songs.

Warner Music Netherlands confirms via Madonna.nl that the David Guetta remix of Revolver was sent to Dutch radio today, but just like Guy Oseary confirmed last month, no video will be filmed for the release.
It is currently unknown whether Revolver is going to be released as a physical single or digital-only, but it's listed for December 14th in UK's Music Week magazine. This date is not confirmed by Warner, neither any other airplay or release date for other countries.
While Revolver, featuring the biggest selling hip hop artist of 2008 definitely has hit potential, fans should not expect any notable chart action for this catchy song as it's been available as an individual download on iTunes for 2 months already and it's unlikely that gets considerable airplay, which means Madonna's very last Warner single will be a "for the fans" release with several remixes.
