    CELEBRATION
    Lyrics
I think you wanna come over Yeah I heard it through the grapevine
Are you drunk or you sober
    Think about it, doesn't matter
And if it makes you feel good then I say do it
    I don't know what you're waiting for

    Feel my temperature rising
There's too much heat I'm gonna lose control
Do you want to go higher, get closer to the fire
    I don't know what you're waiting for

    Come join the party, yeah
    'Cause everybody just won't do
    Let's get this started, yeah
'Cause everybody wants to party with you

    Boy you got a reputation
But you're gonna have to prove it
    I see a little hesitation
Am I gonna have to show you
That if it feels right, get on your marks
Step to the beat boy that's what it's for

    Put your arms around me
When it gets too hot we can go outside
But for now just come here, let me whisper in your ear
An invitation to the dance of life

Come join the party, it's a celebration
    'Cause anybody just won't do
Let's get this started, no more hesitation
'Cause everybody wants to party with you

Haven't I seen you somewhere before
    You look familiar
    You wanna dance, yeah
I guess I just don't recognize you with your clothes on
    What are you waiting for

Come join the party, it's a celebration
    Anybody just won't do
Let's get this started, no more hesitation
'Cause everybody wants to party with you

Come join the party, it's a celebration
    Anybody just won't do
Let's get this started, no more hesitation
'Cause everybody wants to party with you

    Boy you've got it, it's a celebration
    'Cause anybody just won't do
Let's get it started, no more hesitation
'Cause everybody wants to party with you

    Boy you've got it

    Video
Madonna filmed the video in Milan, Italy in mid-July, during her Italians stops of the Sticky & Sweet Tour. Her official site encouraged fans to appear on the set, wearing Madonna memorablia. Fans were also filmed after the Barcelona show, where they had to dance to Celebration in front of blue screens. The world premiere of the video took place on September 1st and it was available as a free iTunes download for 48 hours. The first version of clip features Madonna's daughter Lourdes, boyfriend Jesus Luz and all of the Sticky & Sweet Tour dancers. GET TOGETHER
    Lyrics
It's all an illusion There's too much confusion
    It's all an illusion
There's too much confusion, confusion, confusion,...

Down, down, down in your heart
    Find, find, find the secret
Turn, turn, turn your head around
Baby we can do it, we can do it all right

Do you believe in love at first sight
    It's an illusion, I don't care
Do you believe I can make you feel better
Too much confusion, come on over here

    Can we get together
I really, I really wanna be with you
Come on, check it out with me
I hope you, I hope you feel the same way too

I searched, I searched, I searched my whole life
To find, to find, to find the secret
And all I did was open up my eyes
Baby we can do it, we can do it all right

Do you believe that we can change the future
Do you believe I can make you feel better

    Can we get together
I really, I really wanna be with you
Come on, check it out with me
I hope you, I hope you feel the same way too
    Can we get together
I really, I really wanna be with you
Come on, check it out with me
I hope you, I hope you feel the same way too

    It's all an illusion
    There's too much confusion
    I'll make you feel better
If it's bitter at the start, then it's sweeter in the end

Do you believe in love at first sight

Do you believe I can make you feel better

     Confessions On A Dance Floor
    Single
This clubby, feel-good song is the 3rd single from Confessions On A Dance Floor, released commercially early June in the US and mid-June in Europe. The UK release date was July 24th to coincide with the British leg of the Confessions Tour (it reached #7 there). The single cover features Madonna together with her band and dancers. Thanks to the remixes by Jacques Lu Cont, Danny Howells, Tiefschwarz and James Holden, Get Together became Madonna's 36th #1 hit on the Hot Dance / Club Play chart, confirming her status as the 'Dancing Queen'. It failed to chart on the Billboard Hot 100, but entered the Bubbling Under chart, peaking at #6. » Buy on Amazon

    Video
With Madonna performing on her Confessions Tour, there was no time to make a studio video for Get Together. Instead of opting for a live performance video, commercial and video director team Logan had an animation video made, using footage from her performance at London's Koko Club (Nov. 2005) which was digitally altered and animated onto a digital futuristic city/nature background, which is reminiscent to the video style of Daft Punk. The video premiered online and on music TV channels mid-June 2006. Almost a year later, in May 2007, ICON members received a different version of the animated video, directed by Eugene Rockstar. This ICON version features on the Celebration Video Collection.

    Tour
After opening her Confessions Tour with Future Lovers, Madonna performs Get Together on the main stage, dancing with two male dancers. The backdrop is in all tones of red with pictures of Steven Klein. She teases the fans on front row (including yours truly) by lying down on the catwalk and seducingly rolling around. To see her from so close, it's certainly *not* an illusion!

Je suis désolée [French] Lo siento [spanish]
    Ik ben droevig [Dutch]
    Sono spiacente [italian]
    Perdóname [spanish]

I've heard it all before (14x)

    I don't wanna hear, I don't wanna know
    Please don't say you're sorry
    I've heard it all before
And I can take care of myself
    I don't wanna hear, I don't wanna know
    Please don't say 'forgive me'
    I've seen it all before
And I can't take it anymore

You're not half the man you think you are
Save your words because you've gone too far
I listened to your lies and all your stories (listen to your stories)
You're not half the man you'd like to be

    I don't wanna hear, I don't wanna know
    Please don't say you're sorry

    Please don't say 'forgive me'
    I've seen it all before
And I can't take it anymore

Don't explain yourself cause talk is cheap
There's more important things than hearing you speak
You stayed because I made it so convenient (made it so convenient)

I've heard it all before (sorry, sorry, sorry,...)

    Confessions On A
    Dance Floor
    Celebration
        Single
The second single from the album Confessions On A Dance Floor hit radio stations in January 2006. It was released on February 20th (17th in some European countries, 28th for US). Sorry became Madonna's 12th #1 single in the UK, breaking her own record among female artists. It also reached #1 in Italy, Spain, Hungary and Greece. The track peaked only at #58 on US Billboard Hot 100, but it became her 35th #1 on the Hot Dance / Club Play chart. The single cover features a picture by Mad-Eyes photographer Marcin Kokowski from the G.A.Y. gig, which was found by Madonna's manager on Mad-Eyes and then reworked by Giovanni Bianco. Remixers of the song are Green Velvet, Paul Oakenfold, Stuart Price and Pet Shop Boys. » Buy on Amazon

    Video
Directed by Madonna's long-time choreographer Jamie King, this video is a direct follow-up to the Hung Up video, using the same dancers. It picks up where Hung Up ended: Madonna and her girls leave the club, and get into their disco-style pimped van, leaving the guys behind. Once in the van they change their outfits. On the way they pick up all kinds of guys, cute, fat, dorky, muscled, then make them dance and eventually kick them out again. They arrive in a club where they have a dance competition in a cage. Madonna shows off some amazing yoga moves in her sexy white leotard and fights off the guys around. Next stop on their way is a club where they rollerskate on the dance floor and have a cool group choreography. During the spoken words and some of the chorusses, we see sexy close-ups of Madonna with a neon background. While Hung Up was more street, this video is more disco. It premiered on February 8, 2006.
    Tour
Sorry became a powerful singalong on the Confessions Tour. Madonna traded her red blouse for a cool brown leather jacket. Like the video, the performance was all about girl power, with Madonna and her girls taking over the stage. During the breakdown they face the boys inside the cage, with Madonna doing her staggering yoga choreography from the video to win her fight with Jason. At the end of the performance, Madonna gives the crowd the middle finger who immediately mirrors her. "Talk is cheap mother f*ckers! Many talk the talk, but how many walk the walk?" After Like It Or Not there's a Sorry remix as interlude, which got known as Don't Talk, Don't Speak. The screens show a politically engaged video with war images intertwined with images of world leaders, dictators and terrorists, such as Bush, Saddam and Hitler. On stage a male and a female dancer chase and fight each other until they disappear from the catwalk.

    JUMP
    Lyrics
There's only so much you can learn in one place
The more that I wait, the more time that I waste

I haven't got much time to waste
It's time to make my way
I'm not afraid of what I'll face
    But I'm afraid to stay

I'm going down my own road
And I can make it alone
    I'll work and I'll fight
Till I find a place of my own

    Are you ready to jump
    Get ready to jump
Don't ever look back, oh baby
    Yes, I'm ready to jump
    Just take my hands
    Get ready to jump

We learned our lesson from the start, my sisters and me
The only thing you can depend on is your family
And life's gonna drop you down like the limbs of a tree
It sways and it swings and it bends until it makes you see

    Are you ready to jump
    Get ready to jump
Don't ever look back, oh baby
    Yes, I'm ready to jump
    Just take my hands
Get ready to, are you ready

There's only so much you can learn in one place
The more that you wait, the more time that you waste
I'll work and I'll fight till I find a place of my own
It sways and it swings and it bends until you make it your own

I can make it alone (7x)
(My sisters and me, my sisters and me)

    Are you ready to jump
    Get ready to jump
Don't ever look back, oh baby
    Yes, I'm ready to jump
    Just take my hands
    Get ready to jump

    Are you ready to jump
    Get ready to jump
Don't ever look back, oh baby
    Yes, I'm ready to jump
    Just take my hands

    Video
The video was filmed mid-September 2006 in Tokyo, Japan with the direction of longtime collaborator Jonas Akerlund. The video premiered on AOL on October 5th. It shows Madonna's dancers running in the city of Tokyo and jumping from buildings and ramps, similar to the parkour dancing on the Confessions Tour. Madonna's part was filmed in a studio, where she's seen singing while kicking and fighting. She's sporting a platinum blonde bob wig and wearing a black fighting jacket.
    Tour
"Ladies & Gentlemen, thank you for coming to our little show! The night is young and the show has just begun!" That was usually the intro Madonna gave for the Confessions Tour performance of Jump, which features special parkour dancers (and Cloud) running and jumping on and off runways and rails on the catwalk. Madonna, on the other hand just walks around the stage singing the song while the screens show tall buidings, used for parkour. At the end of the performance, Madonna does a roll on one of the rails then goes offstage while the talented dancers give their all during an extended ending.

Madonna was declined from producing acclaimed new movie ‘Precious’, author Sapphire has revealed.
Sapphire said the Queen of Pop was eager to be associated with the film adapted from 1996 novel Push.
Madonna was almost Mariah Carey’s boss on acclaimed new movie Precious – the pop superstar was among the first people to show an interest in adapting author Sapphire’’s gritty drama into a film.
“There was this really earnest college student with his backpack on who wanted to do his first film, and then Madonna wanted to produce it,” the Daily Express quoted Sapphire as telling Entertainment Weekly magazine.
“I was like, ”Madonna? I don”t think this is her film,”” she added.
The post finally went to moviemaker Lee Daniels who managed to convince her with his credentials.
