  9. About 1 year ago, Miss Fitz (from USA) and Iliana (from Greece) stumbled upon each other at a Madonna forum… but they didn’t talk about Madonna’s recent (at that time) divorce or her latest Louis Vuitton ad campaign… they talked about Madonna’s purple sparkle custom Gibson SG and Monte Pittman’s white Orange amps! Excited with the fact that Madonna fans who: 1) look up to Monte’s kick ass solos in “Heartbeat” and “Burning Up“ 2) drool over Marcus Brown’s all-white Confessions Tour keyboards and 3) jam “Hung Up” with their guitars– do exist, they decided that they had to do something to bring them all together! With the power of technology, a couple of weeks and hundreds of emails later, they proudly presented to the internet world THIS very site! So HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO Axe-Static_Process!!!! It’s been an amazing year! We would like to send HUGE thank you’s to: ***Madonna for entertaining us with her music and inspiring us in soooo many ways! ***Monte Pittman for rocking his soul out and for his support to our site! His references mean the world to us! Thank you so much Montster! ***Nicki Richards for her unbelievable positive energy that always shares with us! And for the best bubble-tweets that exist!!!! ***Ric’key Pageot for being the sweetest guy that he is and responding to our axe-static requests by sending an axe-clusive photo of his tour gear! ***Stuart Price, Adam Lambert, Kevin Antunes, Brian Frasier Moore, Marcus Brown, Steve Sidelnyk, Donna De Lory, Kylie Dean, Niki Harris, DJ Enferno for all the M-U-S-I-C!! and last but not least, thank you to ALL OF YOU who have been checking out our site!!!! Get ready for another axe-iting and full of surprises year to come!!! *Sarah & Iliana* http://axestaticprocess.wordpress.com/2009/12/18/happy-birthday-asp/

  12. Hi everyone! Iliana (aka rockgoddess) and Miss Fitz (aka missfitzpdx) here to make what *we* think is an exciting announcement: Our new blog/site Axe-Static_Process is up and running! We can already hear your internal monologue asking if the world really needs another Madonna site-- and the answer is HELL YES! Thankfully, we do have a unique point-of-view on this site: as a couple of guitarists ourselves, we felt that there was a void in the celebration of Madonna the Musician. We also felt that Madonna's musicians are pretty freaking incredible and deserved their own moments in the spotlight. As long as I am being completely honest, I should mention that we also wanted an excuse to nerd-out on Madonna's guitar rig (er, and Monte's too!). There is a lot in the site especially for guitarists (including chords and tabs for Madonna's songs; gear lists; and soon there will be some guitar lessons designed to help us all follow in M's footsteps and pick up a guitar ourselves!) -- but the site is far from a guitarist-only site. We'll be updating the site with Madonna's musical endeavors as well as keeping tabs on Monte, Stuart, and all the other familiar musical faces! It's just our little way of trying to thank Madonna for all of the inspiration over the years, and we'd love for you all to stop by! Regularly! Peace, love, light, & power chords! 13. September 27th, 2008 - OAKA Stadium, Athens - Greece Robyn appeared on stage around 7.40pm. She was very sweet and with lots of energy and said "Kalispera Athina", which means "Good evening Athens". At one point she asked us "Are you excited to see Madonna?" and we all screamed "Yeeeeeeeeesssssssssss". I was feeling really nervous when the show was gonna start and about 20 minutes before the Candy intro I was feeling my back tired already and I was afraid that I wouldn't have the energy to sing or dance, but that never happened when Madonna was on stage! Around 9.20pm the lights went out and the C-A-N-D-Y shop started! Everyone started screaming insanely as Madonna appeared on stage! It was soooooooo amazing to see her live, although like I said I was quite far from the end of the runway (the "Golden Circle" was huge) and the people with the cameras made it even more difficult, but I was so excited about the show so I didn't care -at that time- that much! After Candy Shop she said "Hello Atheeeens!" and once again we screamed out of enjoyment !! The first hour of the show was amazing, I was singing and dancing all the way, but I can't say the same about the rest of the audience, I believe most of the people didn't know Madonna's new songs so not everyone was singing along, but for sure we were all ecstatic! I was laughing so hard when She's Not Me started because she said "Have you ever had a best who wanted to f*ck your boyfriend, suck your boyfriend." and some other stuff, I was thinking "omg, the woman is so crazy, I just love her!!" Music was another highlight and everyone was dancing and singing! The second hour of the show was when almost everyone started dancing, especially after La isla bonita.... needless to say that during Like a Prayer EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE went nuts! I was feeling my throat starting to hurt but I kept singing and screaming!! Before You Must Love Me we started screaming "Madonna! Madonna! Madonna!" and she smiled and said "Thank you! What a wonderful welcome"! Just before the end, someone said something and she laughed! The request song was Express Yourself and we sang it twice because Madonna asked us to express ourselves louder so we can get what we want! LOVED LOVED LOVED IT!!! Hung Up, another song that made the crowd dancing up and down non stop! We sang together Give It 2 Me and before I knew it, the GAME OVER sign was on the screen and the show was over :( I also met the lovely Israel after the show and chatted for a few minutes, he was so cute and so glad that I got to meet him! Overall, I had A GREAT TIME, I sooooooo wanna see the show all over again!!! Everything was great, except the stage which was not as high as it should be in this stadium, there were a LOT of people who couldn't see anything. The sound was EXCELLENT, although some said that Madonna sang quite a few songs on playback, but still I don't care, it sounded GREAT to me!
