The MDG campaign has finally landed in Holland as well as you can see from the images below captured by MadonnaTribe longtime correspondentCr@zy4Mad*nna at Amsterdam Schiphol airport. The best thing is that several different pictures were used instead of just one or two, making the shop look like a Madonna-shop with little place for the other Sunglasses brands - even the

Leading American feminist author Camille Paglia explains the difference betweenLady Gaga and Madonna in an article published by the UK Sunday Times Magazine.
Paglia accused Gaga of not being one of the few original artists of today's young music scene, claiming she has copied a host of iconic stars, most notably Madonna. Many critics hailed the video to Gaga's last single Alejandro as heavily borrowing from Madonna's Vogue and Like A Prayer videos. Paglia said: 'Gaga has borrowed so heavily fro

The classic Madonna portrait by Steven Meisel best know for gracing the cover of her 1993 "Bad Girl" single is reinvented in a "Celebration" style in the rather nice V-neck t-shirt from Eleven Paris you see below.
Who's that girl? Used to causing a commotion wherever she goes, here's a totally incognito Madonna - sans makeup, boy toy, kids or fans - on a rare foray in the subway, hanging with sweaty riders who all but ignored the dressed-down Material Girl on a schlep downtown. Sipping on a San Pellegrino Limonata soda and ridiculously overdressed for the hellishly hot underground in a jacket, scarf and baseball cap, Madge was joined Tuesday by two men and a young woman who helped her blend in with th
The windows of the Dolce & Gabbana store in Bond Street have been updated and now feature images from the male campaign on the left side and the one below from the new Madonna campaign at the right of the entrance door.
This fantastic image of Madonna, styled by Michael Roberts and shot on location in Los Angeles in 1984 is one of the never before seen pictures you'll find in "Herb Ritts: The Golden Hour", coming out from Rizzoli later this year.
This is indeed the piece of resistance from the Madonna images featured in the upcoming retrospective about the late Ritts - that MadonnaTribe described in details last June - and is now featured in the October 2010 issue of the American edition of Vanity Fair.
Madonna is now in the Big Apple directing her new movie, but the time is right now to get set for what's sure to be a star-studded event: two tickets to the New York City premiere of W.E at a date to be determined are up for grabs by bidding now through Wednesday, September 8th, at charityybuzz.com.
The proceeds will benefit The Ellen Hermanson Foundation, a non-profit organization that is committed to helping breast cancer patients and their families cope with the changing nature of the phy

The architectural brains behind Madonna's new all-girl academy in Malawi won the pop star's trust by creating a boarding school blueprint which doesn't resemble a gloomy prison for kids.
German-born Markus Dochantschi was introduced to the star by her Raising Malawi charity director and he offered to create a plan for the perfect school for free.
He tells Architectural Digest magazine that Madonna was very specific about what she wanted her Raising Malawi Academy for Girls to look like.
When you think you've seen them all, here it comes a brand new advertising for Madonna and Dolce & Gabbana's MDG collection on the back cover of the October 2010 edition of "In Style" from the UK. Tailored on the usual format with three different still images one on top of another, the new ad features Madonna wearing a different pair of MDG shades with a red frame, as you can see in the scan below courtesy of our friend GIOrGIO at Super-Pop.it.

Madonna is so hands-on with the production of "W.E." she's delivering her own furniture to the set. Madge is directing the film, which tracks a young, married New Yorker (Abbie Cornish) who's obsessed with the story of King Edward VIII's abdication.
"W.E" started shooting in London in July, and sources said Madonna - who is reportedly financing the picture herself - saved cash by bringing her own furniture from her house across the pond to use on the set.

Results are in from the Spin magazine poll with Madonna winning in two major categories, "Best Solo Artist" and "Best Sex Goddess". Also, "Like a prayer" was voted second best song ever and even if Madonna not touring the U.S. in 2009 made her not eligible in the "Best Live Act" category, fans voted her in the "add other Artist not listed" one and she made third place in this category. See the complete results at Spin.com. Thanks to Didier.
"I was about 9 years old. I got this job in a Pepsi commercial tied to Madonna's "Like a Prayer" video. The idea was that she was in this Pepsi studio, but she was thinking back to when she was a kid. I was in a birthday party scene. They had me wear this horrible tomboy outfit, while all the other kids got to wear dresses. I remember Madonna came in to see all the kids. I was really shy, but she singled me out and held my face and said, “Doesn’t she look like somebody?” It was super cool." "T
