Madonna has refuted reports she's jetted to Brazil to meet Jesus Luz's family and explained that her visit is strictly business.  Madonna landed in Luz's native country this week alongside her beau, but she is adamant she is only in South America for charity work - she plans to visit some of Rio de Janeiro's slums and to discuss setting up some social projects with the city's governor Sergio Cabral.  She tells New York Post gossip column PageSix, "I am going there strictly for fundraising and

Madonna wants to help Rio slums, says governor

Madonna to visit Brazil next week

It has been reported by major Brazilian newspapers that Madonna will be inBrazil next week, from Nov 09th to Nov 14th.  She is reportedly going to land in Rio de Janeiro on Monday but she is expected to be travelling alone. She is going to meet with Brazilian entrepeneur Eike Baptista to discuss about his donations to her Raising Malawi fund. Madonna wins big at this year's 's Billboard Touring Awards. Her Sticky & Sweet Tour was honoured as Top Tour and Top Draw, acknowledging the highest-grossing and highest-attended tour of the year. Madonna attends Valentino's party at the Boom Boom Room

totally gorgeous Madonna got straight back in the New York City nightlife attending the party for Valentino's "The Last Emperor" documentary at the Boom Boom Room yesterday night.  DJ Jesus Luz was spinning at the mixing booth at the event packed with celebrities such as Adrien Brody, Stephen Daldry, Hugh Jackman, Martha Stewart, as well as designers Marc Jacobs, Narciso Rodriguez and Diane von Furstenberg.
