MADONNA PLAYS SANTA IN MALAWI

MADONNA has been giving Santa Clause a run for his money.
The pop superstar reportedly sent gifts to Malawi orphans over the holidays.
Madge shipped several boxes and bales containing toys, clothing and sweets to six orphanages to the country.
“To my Malawi children on Christmas and Boxing Day. I wish I was with you. See you soon, M,” read a handwritten note that the diva included with the packages.
Malawi is the birthplace of Madonna’s adopted children David and Mercy, .
Madonna’s kids — including 14-year-old Lourdes and 10-year-old Rocco — also signed Christmas cards for the orphans that read, “Mercy, David, Rocco, Lourdes and I send you a blessed Christmas to all of you!”
The gifts were distributed by Raising Malawi, a charity sponsored by Madonna.
The diva also held a holiday party at a Malawi orphanage near the town of Lilongwe, where she has taught Kabbalah classes. More than 1,000 people were invited to celebrate with the orphans, according to Us Weekly magazine.
Recent reports claimed Madonna’s father, Silvio ‘Tony’ Ciccone, has given her a ticking off about her penchant for younger men.
“After she split up with Jesus Luz, who’s 24, Tony was hoping Madonna had got this younger man thing out of her system,” a source said.
“But then she started dating Brahim Zaibat, who’s also in his twenties, almost straight away.
“Madonna’s just out for a good time right now, but her dad thinks she should be taking things more seriously.”
Tony’s been concerned about his daughter ever since she split from husband Guy Ritchie in 2008, the insider revealed.
“He really liked Guy and was devastated when their marriage fell apart,” said the source.
“He’s always been very strict with his children and continues to be very involved in their lives.
“You wouldn’t think she was 52 because the conversation was more like a father would have with a teenager.
“But Madonna’s having the time of her life and she thinks her daddy needs to mind his own business.”
