 Australian pop soul singer SIA has just released her new album We Are Born on June 18. This album is almost entirelly penned by SIA herself but track 13 comes quite as a surprise to Madonna fans as it's a cover of the 1989 song and 1990 single "Oh Father" written by Madonna and her long time collaborator Patrick Leonard.In this cover the piano and strings from the original version are removed. SIA adds a more dramatic spin and a haunting quality to one of the most beautiful and painful ballad Madonna has ever written. She basically doesn't copy Madonna but makes her lyrics and the song her own. Click on the YouTube link below to listen to a live version of this cover.
