She might be a New Yorker but Lady Gaga has shown no hesitation in embracing British life.
The Poker Face singer took a break from her Monster Ball Tour to nip into a pub in Birmingham for a drink.
The eccentric pop star spent two hours in The Prince of Wales drinking whisky and Diet Cokes while scribbling notes on a napkin.
And to show how much she enjoyed her time there she picked up the tab for the whole pub and then left a big tip for the staff.

The generous Poker Face singer also made sure to leave a massive tip, earning her extra points with fans.
As the platinum blonde perched on a bar stool in a black leather jacked and sunglasses, she Tweeted: ‘In a pub in England ruining bar napkins with lyrics and memories.
‘Dreams are never weak like we are, drunk or sober.’
Perhaps the Birmingham local will be the inspiration for a future single, after all she has admitted recently: ‘I love a dingy bar – I’m really old-school that way.’
And it’s not the first time Gaga has immersed herself in British culture, earlier this year she stepped into a Blackpool pub for a few drinks.
The Prince of Wales pub is just around the corner from the National Indoor Arena, where she had performed in the city, following her Nottingham concert that kicked off the UK leg of her world tour.
Some of the punters didn't even recognise the eccentric singer at first, as she hid under shades and a black leather jacket

Despite being one of the most photographed women in pop in recent years, the down-to-earth star chatted with regulars and shocked fellow drinkers with her friendly manner.
One punter told The Sun: ‘She told locals how much she was enjoying having a drink on a day off because she can’t handle drinking before a show.
‘She signed autographs for staff and left a huge tip – a few hundred pounds’.
After leaving The Prince Of Wales, Gaga carried on to Broad Street with a friend to continue her night out.
Following her Birmingham booze up, the Paparazzi singer headed down to the capital and performed at London’s O2 Arena on Sunday night.
