Eccentric American singer Lady Gaga – who has just been tested for lupus as mentioned in a previous post yesterday – has reportedly fired her security team recently, after an overzealous fan was somehow able to leap onstage during one of her shows last month.
As reported by postchronicle.com, the “Poker Face” and “Bad Romance” singer was performing in Japan at the time, as part of her Monster Ball world tour. However, the concert was suddenly interrupted, when a concertgoer hopped over the security barrier and got on stage.
Lady Gaga – who quickly made her way to the other side of the stage as dancers dragged the fan away – was of course left fuming that the fan had been allowed to disrupt the show. She is then said to have fired her security team immediately, according to The Sun newspaper.
A source told the UK tabloid: “She couldn’t believe they could let these things happen so she fired them on the spot. She goes out of her way to make her shows perfect and expects the same from her people.” Gaga then apparently put them on a plane home.
