Is it just me or does it annoy any of you when you hear comments of people comparing Lady Gaga to Madonna?!  I'm sorry but Lady Gaga should not even be mentioned in the same sentence as Madonna! I'll give it to her, some of her songs are catchy and you can dance to them; I guess what some music critics would consider "throw-away pop"; but to be making any real comparisons is not even on the same level and for sure not in the talent category.  Madonna even says herself in this article from MTV that the comparisons are flattering and of course NOT threatening.  I just find it interesting....
