The painter Oscar Casares participates in December at the International Biennale of Contemporary Art in Florence, Italy, with a painting of the singer "Madonna", entitled “VIRTUES OF THE SOUL AS ECLIPSED BY THE DIVA MADONNA” .

In a statement to Lusa, the artist said that it's an artwork that goes "beyond the picture".

The painting will be shown only at the opening of the exhibition: "The painting and its composition are absolutely original and not a mere photographic reproduction," he said.

The painter, 31, who became world famous in art circles with paintings created around personalitys like Nicole Kidman and Pope John Paul II. Casares was personally invited by the organizing committee of the event. LUSA
