    Hello Iconers,
today i wanted to share with you some unreleased good songs by Hard Candy album.
I can't deny that i dislike this album, which i consider the only false step by Madonna in her career, because actually there's no trace of Madonna at all in it. In fact this album was totally committed to hip hop and r'n'b producers like Pharrell Williams, Timbaland and Timberlake. However there are some likable tracks like Candy shop and Miles Aways and some good outtakes i'm going to introduce to you here:

    Animal

    Latte

....... Here are two videos proving she can sing very well. Madonna has an unmistakable voiceprint, her voice is versatile and applies to various music genres and has got many different nuances and as the videos stress, her voice is powerful too!

Look, the vocal range values may be imprecise but what these videos are meant to highlight is that Madonna is actualy a good singer with an uncommon voice.

I'm curious to know what you fans consider to be the most underrated work of hers. Please, try not to choose your favourite one but make an objective choice.
In my opinion her most underrated album is First album along with Bedtime Stories: they are often unjustly forgotten by people, but i consider both true masterpieces.
First album has a very genuine and raw energy that you can especially perceive by Her voice. Through this album she showed to be an avant-garde artist from the very beginning by melding music genres like new wave, synth-pop, ballads and post-dance, and revising them on the strenght of her style. Bedtime Stories's characterised by a high sophisticated mood, sound is very polished and delicate, lyrics are gentle and deep. The whole work is a travel through feminine consciousness, human (especially woman) condition, the way of relating to love and the problems it entails. It definitely is Madonna's most sensual album. These two albums are good as much as the others and need to be reconsidered.
    So what's your opinion?

Madonna will be honored with the Top Touring Artist award at the upcoming Billboard Music Awards, an achievement earned by the worldwide success of her MDNA tour.
The sold out 88-date run was 2012's top-grossing tour with $305 million. It's the pop icon's latest chart landmark in a career full of them, including records for Hot 100 top 10 singles (38 of her overall 56 Hot 100 hits) and Dance Club Songs No. 1s (43). Her "MDNA" album bowed at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 -- her eighth trip to the penthouse -- with sales of 359,000.
The 2013 Billboard Music Awards will air Sunday, May 19 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC, live from Las Vegas' MGM Grand Garden Arena. "30 Rock" alum Tracy Morgan will host, with Don Mischer producing.
Madonna will take the stage to accept her award, with superstars from Prince to Taylor Swift to Lil Wayne set to perform. Other performers joining the ceremony include Nicki Minaj, Bruno Mars, Miguel, Justin Bieber, Pitbull, Christina Aguilera, Selena Gomez, the Band Perry, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Chris Brown, Ed Sheeran, Akon, Ne-Yo, David Guetta and Icona Pop.
Along with his performance, Prince is set to be honored with the Billboard Icon Award. Bieber, Swift and Mars are also vying for the Milestone Award, a fan-driven honor that one voter will get to present at the show alongside Cee Lo Green.
Swift, fun. and Maroon 5 top the finalists at the 2013 awards, with each included in 11 categories. Rihanna competes in 10 categories, including Top Artist against Swift, Maroon 5, Justin Bieber and One Direction, while a pair of younger artists -- Carly Rae Jepsen and 1D themselves -- are finalists in nine and eight categories, respectively.
Billboard Music Awards finalists were based on key fan interactions with music, including album and digital singles sales, radio airplay, touring, streaming and social interactions on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, VEVO, Spotify and other popular online destinations for music. These measurements were tracked year-round by Billboard and its data partners, including Nielsen Entertainment and Next Big Sound.
Stay tuned for more announcements for the May 19 airing of the 2013 Billboard Music Awards on ABC.

MDNA era is just ending, but Madonna is already at work on her next job.

A small line published by the British newspaper Metro says the Queen of Pop is already working on new material for the next album and a collection of unreleased remixes.

Just rumors for the moment. MDNA Tour DVD/Bluray is going to be released in May, but no official date has been announced yet. While Steven Klein collaboration is confirmed.

Today i've listened to Beautiful Stranger's single, do you remember it? Soon after, driven by a feeling mix of curiosity and nostalgia (i was 14 at the time of its release in 1999), i've browsed informations on it and i found that (according to italian wikipedia) it is the radio's most played song of all time..It's funny how one of Madonna's less regarded songs also results to be the most airplayed song in the history of music...Madonna is not new to records after all. Browsing the web i also found she's the most-played artist of the 2000s first decade in UK.
So congratulation again to this amazing artist who will never stop to amaze the world

Madonna is apparently working with Steven Klein on a project.
She has instagramed a picture adding #secretproject in the comment field.... Could it be a music video for one of fans' favourites off MDNA? Could she work on another coffee table book? Also Klein tweeted...
Anyhow this hot news is going to be a big questioning and suspense for all the fans. she might be working on something we can't even imagine this time

Madonna was named the biggest money maker in music in 2012 on Friday, with a world tour helping her take home up to $34.6 million and highlighting the earning power of live performances as the industry increasingly goes digital.
The 54-year-old Material Girl topped Billboard Magazine's annual list of 40 top money makers for the second time after earning an estimated $32 million - 93.5 percent of her revenue - from her 88-date "MDNA" tour, 2012's biggest tour.
Madonna, who also led the list in 2008 due to tour income, was the only woman in the top 10 with last year's winner, Taylor Swift, who fell to 15th place as she did not tour in 2012.
In second place in the music magazine's list was Bruce Springsteen whose $33.4 million revenue was also primarily driven by touring, playing to sold-out stadiums and arenas.
Springsteen, who also released a No. 1 album, "Wrecking Ball," last year, earned 92 percent of his revenue from live shows where strong merchandise sales also boosted takings.
Roger Waters, founder of Pink Floyd, came a distant third with earnings of $21 million largely from "The Wall Live" tour and Van Halen was fourth with $20 million after touring in support of their album "A Different Kind of Truth".
"When it comes to making the biggest score, the most money always comes from high-paying live performances," Billboard's editorial analyst Glenn Peoples wrote in explaining the list.
"Ironically, the most popular touring artists are usually well past their peaks on the album sales charts."
Country music veteran Kenny Chesney, the Dave Matthews Band, country's Tim McGraw and Jason Aldean, and British band Coldplay came next on the list.
Canadian teen sensation Justin Bieber was 10th, earning almost $16 million of which about $10 million came from his sold-out "Believe" arena tour.
"The entire top 10 averaged 84.2 percent of their income from concerts, and the number would have been higher, if not for Justin Bieber's mere 60.1 percent share at No. 10 dragging down the average," said Billboard.
However touring was not vital for every act on the list such as Swift and Britain's Adele.
Swift earned $12.7 million after selling the most digital tracks in 2012. She sold more than 3 million digital albums and 15.6 million digital tracks driven by her hit "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together".
Adele took the year out after having a baby but still earned nearly $14 million, putting her 11th in the rankings, due to continuing strong physical and digital sales for her album "21".
Maroon 5, ranked 33rd in the list, took the highest share of streaming revenue which made 3.5 percent of its $7.2 million.
Billboard said streaming music online to paying customers has not caught on with older generations and was small in percentage terms but growing.
"Yet even in the coming years, as streaming services become a more important revenue source, possibly replacing digital downloads and CD sales, one thing is unlikely to change: concerts will have the greatest influence of top earners' overall earnings," said Peoples.
The list was compiled by Billboard editors using data for Boxscore archives of U.S. concert gross figures, Nielsen SoundScan data for sales, YouTube, and Nielsen BDS data.

We’ve seen pop queen Madonna with a myriad of looks over the years but we’ve never seen her quite like this.
Artist Peter Reynosa of Yuba City, CA held an art show called the17 Paintings of Madonna in Los Angeles recently. His paintings are both controversial and intriguing. At first glance you would never know Madonna was Peter’s muse, his pieces are not pop art, instead he uses symbolism which he finds to be “more powerful”.
Says Reynosa, “I would describe my paintings as abstract portraits of Madonna with a lot of symbolism that attempt to talk about a serious subject. Some are complimentary of her and her beliefs, yet some are critical of her or her beliefs.”
Take a look for yourself, the artist describes each one:

Madonna and Lourdes. It is not controversial. It is a beautiful painting of Madonna and her daughter. It is a mother and child painting. Actually, Madonna is holding her daughter and protecting her like a rock as she creates a protective barrier around her. I painted Lourdes as a child because in Madonna’s eyes she will always be a child. And I have her breast feeding her to show their emotive connection.

Madonna Making Love on a Full Moon. And here we see two phallic symbols struggling to dominate each other.. It is really a painting about the sexual politics between a man and a woman.

Madonna and Aborted Child. This is a painting of Madonna with one of her aborted children. I dress them up like they did in the Renaissance because in that time Madonna and child paintings were popular. The white on their faces represent their innocence. The nimbuses around their heads represent how they are both holy. And the crosses represent death, the death of the child and a part of the death of the woman for having an abortion. And yet, it is not a mean painting or ugly painting. But it is a tragic painting

Madonna Dreaming about Existentialism. Here we see our world and mankind (Madonna melting) and everything sacred to mankind (the cross) melting away by our giant red sun in a hopeless universe. Obviously, this painting is about existentialism and my interpretation how Madonna might dream about how horrible it might be if we truly exist in an existential universe.

Madonna Practicing Autoerotic Aphyxiation. It is actually also making fun of Piet Mondrian, a famous abstract painter who said his artwork was very religious and serious. He also did paintings with straight up and down lines and only a couple of colors.

This artist has also composed a poem about Madonna, here's the link:

The U.K.’s Telegraph named Madonna the greatest female pop artist of all time.
The Telegraph cited the Queen of Pop’s ability to constantly reinvent herself and produce cutting-edge dance music as reason to crown her with this honorific title.
Madonna’s career has spanned 30 years, starting with the release of her singleEverybody in 1982. Since then, she has taken on many roles, including virgin, temptress, earth goddess, witch, cowgirl, disco queen, and cheerleader. Her 2012 MDNA Tour was the highest grossing tour in the U.S, accompanied by a number one album with the same name.

I'm making a plea to Madonna's commercial Staff for reissuing Confessions on a Dance Floor and Ray of Light including the unreleased tracks and the special edition tracks.
It's a shame that dance/synth-pop gems like "Triggering Your Senses", "Keep The Trance" and "History (Land Of The Free)" miss in the basic edition of Confessions album. As well as the unreleased tracks of Ray of Light (along with "Has to Be", an ambient/new age pearl which is prerogative of the japanese edition) went to waste, when they could be released as a deluxe 2 CD set. What a pity!
I hope the commercial Staff will consider this request one day, I'm sure the reissues would obtain notable success too. This is a win-win situation.

    Thank you

....I think that Mdna Tour's been successful but it's a little too short compared to her average tours.
Adding new dates in 2013 would pay with a positive feedback. Furthermore, Oceania's fans deserve to see the Queen.
I wonder how Madonna's staff would welcome this suggestion, but what do you think about it?
