  4. Hello everyone! Madonna.com just announced the winners of the Sticky + Sweet Book Contest, and I am one of the winners! I am so happy I could die, and I thought that I could share with you my entry. This is the 30 words phrase I wrote and the photo I chose. "Energy, Strength, Passion, Drive. This photo encapsulates a tour which earned its own place in hearts and history, making everyone think of this world as a better place"
  5. It's strange when you wait for something, looking forward to it with such anticipation it almost hurts. It's strange because when that moment finally arrives, you can barely believe it's really happening. For sure, that’s what happened to me, waiting to see my first Madonna concert, last 6th September, in Rome. I'd spent the whole summer thinking about it, all my thoughts focused towards that day, that moment when I would see Madonna live. The difference between waiting for just “something” and waiting for a Madge concert is that when the moment of such eager anticipation finally comes, it dissolves and disappears, leaving you with a nostalgic memory to cherish. In fact, when the day of the Madonna concert finally comes, you experience a roller-coaster of emotions, a buzz like never before, emotions that Madge gives us all every time, like the first and best time. And when the concert is over, you’re not left with just a memory, but with great feelings that you can relive whenever you want to. Rome, 6th September, 2008 It was a hot, sticky and magical day; the day one of my greatest dreams came true. I didn't know what to think or how to feel, whether to feel on top of the world because the moment I’d been waiting for had come at long last or whether to feel kind of strange, because it was finally time, after months of waiting, and I couldn't believe it. The stadium was packed, I don’t I think I've never seen so many people in one place united by the same excitement, the same passion, we were moved by love, and that was one of the best feelings of my life. The moment the lights dimmed, I felt something strange and beautiful inside, the adrenaline started rushing through my veins, I couldn't believe it was truly happening. The concert was awesome, Madonna was sensational and poured out all the love that we give her every day, listening to her music, believing in what she does, loving her. Every time I think about the concert, I relive the incredible buzz, I picture Madonna and hear the music that rocked us again and again. That night she left me something important, something I'll always carry with me, something that can't be conveyed through words, but which I’d describe as "love". Because love is what we have to trust in, love is what we need, love is what makes the world go round. I don’t think I'll ever stop thanking Madonna for all she does, for giving me wonderful moments that I’ll treasure for the rest of my life.
