Screen-Captures from Uli Edel's 1993 movie 'Body of Evidence'. The film is starring Madonna, Willem Dafoe, Joe Mantegna, Anne Archer and Julianne Moore.

The film opened in US theaters on January 15, 1993 and was trashed by critics - as so often with films starring Madonna. The film obviously suffered from bad publicity and from a so-called Madonna overkill which happened in late 1992 / early 1993. Constant comparisons to the controversial thriller Basic Instinct didn't help much either.

Madonna herself never said much about the film openly after its release. But at least she must have enjoyed working with her co-stars. On working with Willem Dafoe she said: "Gracious as a man, genereous as an actor, and absolutely the best pretend ***CENSORED*** I ever had!"

The filmed was released in US theatres getting an R-Rating (Restricted) but only the later released Unrated Version (first available only on LaserDisc and later on DVD) was featuring full-frontal nudity by Madonna.
