Merlin" star Katie McGrath has praised Madonna after filming a role in the singer's directorial debut W.E. 
McGrath will appear in the King Edward VIII biopic as a former mistress who introduces the King to Wallis Simpson. 

"She's fantastic," the actress who plays the Lady Morgana in the BBC fantasy drama told What's On TV. 
"She's one of those people who everyone's so familiar with and then she's talking to you and she's so lovely, and you can't quite believe this is your life." 

She added: "It's nice when you meet someone you admire and they don’t disappoint you." 

W.E is scheduled for a 2011 release.
