Madonna is reportedly hosting a king and queen-themed party to celebrate turning 52.
The star’s birthday is on Monday, while her son Rocco was ten on August 11. The singer plans to host a lavish bash to celebrate both the big days, which will be attended by all her family and friends. To make it more fun for Rocco, Madonna decided to make it a costume party and settled on the theme of kings and queens.
“Rocco and Madonna have birthdays just days apart so she thought it would be nice to really treat the youngster to an unforgettable party,” a source explained.
Madonna has decided to dress as Anne Boleyn, the second wife of English monarch Henry VIII, who was beheaded. Her boyfriend Jesus Luz will attend the event, although his costume has not been revealed.
After playing with Rocco and his pals, the adults will move on to a nightclub in the evening. Madonna is said to be keen to let her hair down, and has told friends she can’t wait to hit the dance floor.
“The plan is to have a wholesome daytime activity and party, with Rocco's chums invited, followed by an alcohol-free dinner, with jelly, dairy-free ice cream and gluten-free brownies,” the source explained to British newspaper The Daily Mirror. "In the evening, she and Jesus want to go clubbing - with the adults. Madonna is desperate to go to her favourite club in London, Aura, where she never gets hassled. She can have a few glasses of bubbly and let her hair down.”
