Elton John livened up the Rainforest Fund benefit Thursday night when he performed two Madonna songs, "Material Girl" and "Like a Virgin," complete with some nearly-naked dancers.
The eight, brief-clad men joined in for "Like a Virgin," (2:30 into the below video) and did some classic ballet moves as well as some dirtier grooving. The troupe is called Bad Boys of Dance and they are directed by Rasta Thomas.
How do you top the always over-the-top Lady Gaga?
If you're Elton John, you belt out Madonna's "Material Girl" and "Like a Virgin" backed up by a chorus of scantily-clad men from a group called The Bad Boys of Dance.
At Thursday's Rainforest Fund benefit concert at New York's Carnegie Hall, the British singer stepped away from his piano and worked the stage, delighting the crowd with his cover songs – and his backing dancer eye candy. John had eight guys, all clad in skin-tight bikini briefs, dance during his take on "Like a Virgin." (Fast forward two minutes for an eyeful!)
Also on the Rainforest Benefit bill: Sting (his wife Trudie Styler produced the event), Gaga, Debbie Harry and special guest Bruce Springsteen, who even lured Kate Hudson on stage with him. – Julie Jordan
