Madonna strips down to underwear for British magazine, not an airbrush in sight
MADONNA is the 51-year-old with the body of a woman 30 years her junior.
The Queen of Pop has stripped down for a UK magazine for a series of photographs that have not been airbrushed.
The indentations left by fishnets still visible across her midriff are the proof.
Madonna put her ashtanga yoga-honed physique on display for Interview, which showed her seductively tugging at her underwear, kissing a crucifix and sporting an eye-patch - alongside a piece written by US film director Gus Van Sant.
She tells the director, whose films include Milk and Good Will Hunting, her new movie W.E., about the British royal family, has taken over her life.
Madonna, who has starred in films including Evita, spent the past 2 1/2 years writing the film.
It tells the tale of Britain's King Edward VIII, who abdicated the throne to marry US divorcee Wallis Simpson.
But she readily admitted the task has left her little room to contemplate making another album.
"I don't know how I'm going to get my music out the next time I make a record," she tells Van Sant.
"I haven't really been focused as much as I should be on the music part of my career, because this movie has consumed every inch of me.
"Between that and my children, I don't have time or energy for anything else."
Except what must be a strict exercise and diet regimen.
