Madonna treated teenage daughter Lourdes to a night out at a benefit dinner in New York.

The 13-year-old looked glamorous in biker boots, laddered tights and leather biker jacket teamed with a jewelled mini-dress as she held hands and posed for pictures with her mother at the second Annual Bent on Learning benefit.

Madonna was dressed in a contrasting chic outfit of black trench coat, red dress and heels and fishnet tights at the benefit, which was to raise funds for providing yoga classes in underprivileged inner city schools.

Gwyneth Paltrow also attended the event, organised by her and Madonna's yoga instructor Eddie Stern. Gwyn was wearing a skin tight metallic mini-dress from Victoria Beckham's range and a pair of her killer heels.

Gwyneth and Madonna appeared to have made friends as they were pictured smiling together at the event.

The 37-year-old Oscar-winning actress apparently told Vogue earlier this month the queen of pop "keeps people waiting - it takes up your whole day... it was too much".

The Hangover star Heather Graham also attended the benefit, at which Sean Lennon performed with girlfriend Charlotte Kemp Muhl.
