'Glee' wins Outstanding Comedy Series at GLAAD Media Awards

The hit musical comedy FOX series Glee won the award for Outstanding Comedy at the 21st annual GLAAD Media Awards, presented in Los Angeles on Saturday by the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation.
Cast members Cory Monteith, Jane Lynch, Dianna Agron and Chris Colfer and series creator Ryan Murphy were among those accepting the award on stage on behalf of the show, which also won a TV Land award earlier in the day.
The show is set to pay homage to Madonna in its next episode, set to air on Tuesday, April 20. A video of Jane Lynch performing "Vogue" was recently released. Lynch plays vengeful cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester, who aims to bring down the Glee Club.
The show won a 2010 Golden Globe award for "Best Television Series - Musical or Comedy". Its cast members are set to go on a live tour in May, after which they are set to begin filming the season season.
