Lady Gaga, Bono, Jay-Z, Simon Cowell, Shania Twain to appear in shows on new Oprah Winfrey Network

April 8, 2010 - OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network announced today in a press release several of the new shows slated for the network's debut in 2011. Three of the new shows feature high-profile celebrities including Lady Gaga, Bono and Shania Twain.
Visionaries: Inside the Creative Mind features a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process with inside access to celebrities like Lady Gaga, director James Cameron, photographer Annie Leibovitz, fashion designer Tom Ford, and will.i.am of The Black Eyed Peas.
In Oprah Presents: Master Class, entertainers and politicians like JAY-Z, Bono, Simon Cowell, Lorne Michaels, Toni Morrison and Condoleezza Rice will share their personal stories and insights into their success.
And finally, Why Not? with Shania Twain will follow the best-selling female artist in country music in the aftermath of her devastating divorce. Shania "opens up about her life-altering heartbreak and how she's moving on." The one-hour series will follow Twain as she "begins her climb back to the top, a personal journey filled with risk, revelations and unexpected adventures."
"My vision for OWN is to create a network that inspires our viewers and makes them want to be who they are on their best day," said Ms. Winfrey.
