Caresse Henry dies in her home after apparent suicide
Madonna's former manager Caresse Henry has died after an apparent suicide.
The 44-year-old was found dead in her home in Irvine, California on Wednesday (March 31) following a self-inflicted gunshot according to the Orange County coroner's office.
She worked with
Madonna for about a decade, up until 2004 and also managed Ricky Martin, Jessica Simpson, Joss Stone and Paula Abdul.Madonna's publicist, Liz Rosenberg released a statement to CNN saying: "Despite rumours to the contrary, the cause of death has not been determined and is currently under investigation.
"The family has requested that their privacy be respected during this difficult time."
Henry is survived by her two children, Honour Kristen Norman and Ava Caresse Hinojosa, who both live in Los Angeles.
A funeral service is expected to be held next Friday (April 9) at St Paul's Church in Westwood, California.
